A country with 10,000 years old civilization would have certainly done enough to survive till date.
And from my point of view we need to get back to our culture.
The vedas and the upnishads were so much developed and scientific. The coming world will take a lot of time to make progress to reach that point.
We should eliminiate the crippling factors from the society:
mainly corruption and laziness.
As to talk about the other social mis-factors, i'd love to say to the whole world that ours is the most integrated and the most peaceful society in the whole world.
The reasons are many we have a great sense of unity in diversity. we just need to work little harder and give more importance to our time, the world is recognizing our potential.
We have the best software professionals, engineers, scientists, doctors, army, navy and so many more things.
And the only thing i see is work hard the conditions and the environment is very suitable to progress and make it a big time to be the number 1 country in the whole world.
